The Indian Electronics Brand Yu Televentures which is owned by micromax has launched a printer called YUPIX. This printer is very much different from other printers.As this printer is portable,you can print your photos from anywhere in the world.
The YUPIX printer prints a digital photos sized 2.1 x 3.4 inch at a resolution of 291 dpi within a minute.This printer weighs 273 grams.
After installing the YUPIX app you can edit your photos and also get the printout of these without the use of computer.This app have a resolution of 1280x1920 (2.5MP).The photos can also be transferred through Wi-Fi or NFC enabled Connection.This is compatible with all types of Smartphones like Android,Iphone,Windows Phone.
YUPIX uses dye sublimation method for printing photos and its cartridge does not uses any cleaning roll.This also includes an Ink ribbon and photo paper inserted on it.This is water and finger print proof.This will be available only on Amazon.in from 7 September 2015 with the price tag of Rs 6,999.
