Few days ago, we heard some news or saw some screenshots about the upcoming Windows 8.1 Update 1 that is expected to come with new feature including the ability to pin Metro apps to the desktop taskbar which are easy to access but then no one knows about the exact date of release.Now,According to Mary Jo Foley the accurate date of release of this new Windows 8.1 update 1 is 11th march.
Wzor, who leaked the screenshots of Windows 8 Update 1 did not clarify the exact release date,he gives a hint that it will be launched on march but did not give the exact date.
Anyway, Mary Jo Foley also hinted towards another interesting fact about this update. Along with the ability to pin modern apps, the Update 1 will come with some new features which was performed by Microsoft to reduce memory disk space requirements for Windows. This will help the OS to run smoothly on low-specifications tablets.
The mini-start menu will make an appearance with the Windows 8.1 Update 1, but it could launch in the coming few months,it will comes with the second update of Windows 8.1 or with Windows 9 Threshold next year.
