Earlier this year at WWDC Apple launched new Macbook Air.This tablet have two versions i.e 11.6-inch and 13.3-inch which is powered by Intel's Haswell processors.A report said that Apple decided to introduce a redesigned Macbook Air with retina display along with a iphone display in 2014.The report comes from analyst firm NPD DisplaySearch, which mentions Apple may launch a new iphone with dimensions of 4.7-5.7-inch iPhone, 1.2-inch iWatch and 12.9-inch iPad in 2014 along with a redesigned Macbook Air with Retina display.
Let’s just forget about the new iPhone as Apple recently upgraded its iPhone lineup and focus more on the products that are going to see the daylight in the coming months. According to the report, Apple is expected to unveil the redesigned Macbook Air in a new size. Currently, the tablet is available in two sizes: 11.6 and 13.3-inches.
The redesigned Macbook Air is expected to come with screen display of 12-inch with a higher resolution compared to the current generation laptops. The current 11.6 and 13.3 Macbook Air models boasts a resolution of 1,366 x 768 and 1,440×900 pixels respectively. On the other hand, the 12-inch Macbook will feature a resolution of 2,304×1,440 with 226 ppi which is very much higher than the resolution of the current models.
