As we know that Google Maps are very helpful for android users when they are in new place or area.Now Google reveals an update for Google Maps for Android that updates it to v7.3.This updated version of Google Maps brings new features and improvements in the maps which are far better than the earlier version of Google Maps.This update provides a number of new features such as it gives directions for multiple destinations,you can see a flight schedule,different hotels and also helpful in restaurant reservations, upcoming events near your locations, updated notificiations system, and more.
The most important change is in the notificiations is that it display more information than just the destination and direction. Now, the notification will also show users the remaining time to reach destination,how much distance is covered to reach destination and estimated arrival time. Additionally, there are some changes to the navigation cards as well. You may not be able to recognize it at first sight, but if you take a closer look you’ll notice that they are more compact and easier to read.Other features include confirmation dialog box that asks users to confirm before discarding a review you have written which is very useful in different conditions.Other minor features include Google Analytics support for app usage reporting, improvement to caching of icons, and the usual bug fixes and improvements.
